About Us
The congregation was formed in 1713 as an off-shoot of Saintfield. This Meeting House was erected in 1834 at a cost of £1,500 which was raised by subscription. The congregation split from the Rademon Meeting House over doctrine. The Arians and Non-Subscribers remained at Rademon. This congregation adhered to the Synod of Ulster. This church was described in 1836 as a plain, slated rectangular building, neat, and whitewashed. The minister in 1836 was Rev. Moses Black of Crossgar and his salary then was £125 per year.
Our Church is currently 'vacant' and being looked after by Rev Scott Woodburn, Vacancy Convenor. He can be contacted on 97 564955 or swoodburn@presbyterianireland.org
